Wrong color? Otherwise good.

I bought this for the laptop case, and used the zippered part for whatever bits and bobs my child needed on a given day. If you don't use the rings as intended, you can roll up a gym uniform, fit a pencil pouch, an electronics case, and insert a thin expanding file for clean paper, take-home papers, and a mousepad.
My biggest complaint is the color. The one I bought previously had white in it, and gets immediately dirty and it is not the type of material that is wipable. This time, I bought the kelly green, dark grey, and black color combination, so it doesn't show the dirt like the last one we had. But where the grey should be, it's still white. I dont know if they sent the wrong color or if this pic is inaccurate.

This Zipper Binder was for my Grandson and we bought it hoping that it was as strong and sturdy as it looked; alas to no avail!
The paper holder metal rings kept unsnapping and opening the case. This is the end of the school year and it lasted a couple of months;
so even though we are a little disappointed with the product it still got us through the remainder of the school year.
I am just amazed what students must carry with all the books going back and forth to school.
We will try a different brand for next year so if You folks think You got something much better than that one send me some info.
Needs a strong handle and Case cannot open in the hallway and dump the childs books pencils and etc. all over the hallways.
Thanks
Pat

Overall good design, but rings are weak

If this was not a zippered binder, I would give it a single star. The 3 ring binder has opened up on me several times causing my parts catalog to get creased and folded on the edges. Not something I would recommend for a professional, but for the short term needs of a student or occasional carry it could be fine. The zippers have held up well. The exterior flap is reverse of the binder zipper, which is inconvenient when the binder is open, but I don't see any other way to really resolve due it's carrying strap being built into the ring side of the binder. If this ever gets a makeover design, I hope they consider the zippers functionality when in use as an open binder and the need to retrieve items from the external pocket.
Perfect for my middle school daughter's needs

Perfect for my middle school daughter's needs. The large outside pocket holds four standard size composition books (shown in second photo). The smaller outside pocket is great for pencils and her phone. The inside of the binder came with no inserts, so we added a Case-It Locker Accessory 5-Tab File (3rd photo) for storage, as well as two Bazic 3-ring Pencil Pouches, and a set of Avery Write & Erase Durable Plastic Dividers with Pockets (5th photo). We are happy with the 5 Star Filler Paper--it has reinforced edges that keep it from pulling loose. I ordered the Case-it Large Pencil Pouch, too, but it doesn't move smoothly on the binder clips--I'm afraid my daughter will pull the clips open--so we are sending the Pencil Pouch back. Even without it, though, she has plenty of storage. Last year she used the Case-it Mighty Zip 3-inch. I was a little concerned about going down to this 2" binder, but the books being moved to the outer pocket, instead of being stored in the central zip area (as it was in the Mighty Zip) make up for losing that space.
Ditch the backpack

Purchased one of these last year for my middle schooler to replace the 3-ring binder they were suggesting the kids use. It lasted the entire school year and held the Mac air book plus all other binders and folders that were needed.
I like that everything is zipped up so papers, pencils, etc. don't fall out. Purchased another one for this school year! If it hadn't been going to middle school ever day I'm sure it would have lasted much longer.
