Somewhat chalky, but tastes pretty good. You're probably not going to bulk up and build a lot of muscle with this protein compared to whey, but Thrive is kind to your digestive system.

The taste was better than I expected. The protein mixed smoothly with water and did not have a weird after taste. Will purchase again in the future.

this is my go to protein now, have been following the Bigger,Leaner,and Stronger Year one Challenge for awhile and about 6 months ago switched to a plant based diet like forks over knives, and had to stop using ON gold standard, found this last month and love it, tried some other ones on the market and were hard to drink, this is very good, thanks legion for making this, listened to mike on the mind pump podcast and he really does care about his products, good stuff

I love this stuff. I will never go back to whey protein again. This product does not leave me feeling bloated and gassy like whey powders do. My body processes and absorbs this protein so much better. The taste isn't the best, but the ingredients are high quality and nutritious.

I never review anything but figured this would the a great opportunity to do so. I have been a vegetarian for almost 3 years now, and I've never consistently been able to drink whey because I've detested its aftertaste. I have come across recent health issues which prevent me from drinking whey now, let alone having excess starch and sugars - so I found this protein powder after much research. I'm pleasantly surprised! It is indeed a bit chalky like the other reviews would say, but to me it feels characteristic of raw vegan smoothies (which I've always loved). The chocolate flavor is superb and the sweetener doesn't have that aforementioned aftertaste. I'm happy to have found this because now I feel this can be a reliable protein supplement for me; this is quite enjoyable.
