Helps so much with pain
Susan Gardner•April 8, 2018
I have been doing physical therapy for my back. Anyone who has ever had physical therapy knows its not much fun. At the end of every session, they put a tens unit on my back. They told me i should purchase one. I found the AUVON rechargable tens unit and knew it would be perfect. I love that its rechargable. No fussing with batteries. This unit has four pads. They can be used over and over again. I use my tens unit every four hours. It has 16 different settings and it can be turned up to whatever speed is most comfortable for each individual. It helps so much with the pain i am experiencing. It can be used on different parts of the body, not just the back. I woke up one morning and my neck was so stiff and sore. I immediately grabbed my tens unit and 20 minutes later i was feeling so much better. The unit is so small. Fits in the pocket. Comes with a carrying bag, 2 cords, 4 pads and plenty of instructions. I definately recommend.
I love it -- it works!

Having suffered from sciatica for a few years, I decided to give TENS a try and it has been a God send. No longer do I wake up during the night with pain or get out of bed in the morning with pain. The AUVON rechargeable TENS is beautifully designed, easy to use and really works. I told my M.D. I was using it and he is sold on TENS treatments and is happy I am using it and he appreciated the feedback. The beauty of this unit is that it is rechargeable -- no batteries to buy.
Great product & I had amazing results

This thing is pretty great. I've suffered from Achilles tendinitis for a few years & the pain was constant when I'd lay down. My dr told me to do certain stretches to help but nothing was working. I decided to try this although I was skeptical it wouldn't help with a tendon & thought this was mainly for muscle stimulation. I was really surprised after just a couple days of use. The pain faded more & more after each day of use & now I just do it a couple times a week just to keep everything good & haven't had any more pain. It has a ton of great modes, cycles, time & sensitivity settings which help to customize various stimulation types to your needs. The battery lasts forever even if you're doing any mode on high intensity & at 60 minute sessions. It recharges fast too although you won't be charging it very often. I can't say this will cure anyone of their own personal issues but it sure has helped me a ton & for the price it's absolutely worth the shot.
TENS unit - it worked!

I've been experiencing back spasms for about two weeks and finally looked into getting a TENS unit in lieu of killing my liver by living on Tylenol or Excedrin. I received the unit yesterday, read the instructions thoroughly and then watched a few videos on YouTube to make sure I knew how to place the leads. The leads received with the unit are double-ended, and the instructions show single.
One hour using the unit before bed and I had the best sleep I've had in weeks. I used it again for a couple of hours before actually getting up for the day, as stiffness in my back in the morning is what has really been dragging me down. I've had the best day in WEEKS! There is still a little stiffness when I've been sitting for awhile, but I've felt really, really good all day.
Was a little worried after reading some reviews that said the unit had little to no power. Mine does not fall into that category. There are a couple of modes that do require the strength to be turned up to at least 50% to feel anything but they all work, and from what I can tell, work very well. All day at work I had very pleasant "after shocks" in my lower back; almost as if my muscles stored energy and were releasing it throughout the day. Its been really nice to be able to move almost normally all day! It's time for bed now, and another session before going to sleep.
Thank you to all who answered my question about lead placement - I very much appreciate the feedback.

Pocket-sized unit packs a punch

I have been using a TENS machine for several years to relieve back and knee pain. I paid well over $100 for my original machine which finally wore out. Found this one for far less and it works just as well.
There are only two differences (other than the significant savings.) One is that there is no continuous mode - you can set a timer for up to an hour. The other difference is that you can't set A and B to different functions/intensity. Whatever you set up for one is also set for the other. On the more expensive machine, I could set one of the sides lower for more sensitive areas. This is not a dealbreaker for me especially since I could buy 4 of these for what I paid for the other. If this becomes an issue, I'll just purchase a 2nd unit so that I can set different modes or intensities.
This unit is also quite a bit smaller and will fit well in my pocket so I can stay mobile while using it.
Overall, I'm pleased with the unit - it does what it is supposed to do.
