definitely brighter than hallogens. however, these are a right PAIN to install in a civic. here's a little help:

driver side - do not try and force the retaining bracket over the heatsink on the driver side. instead, fish the bulb and circular section through the bracket. when you move the bracket to lock it into place, the bulb will move with it. you will need to angle the bulb forward a little but it will clear and mount properly.

passenger side - remove the battery. installation was a bit easier with more hand space to work with. the bracket on the passenger side (on my car) did not require me to slip it through a hoop. only one side on my car locked into place. a flathead screwdriver and a steady hand helped me guide the bracket back into place.

you will no longer need the rubber boot that came off; it does not fit on the LED lights whatsoever. i recommend getting some electrical tape and covering up the power connection, as its not sealed like it was with the rubber boot.

overall, pleased, but the install on the driver side.. whew. that's my reasoning for 4 stars. its a right pain to get that bracket over the heatsink. fishing the bulb/circular base through the bracket worked out loads better.

Thus far these have worked great. It has only been a few days but they are brighter and whiter than my GE Silverstars. Make a note though that they may seen like they do not mount correct. In my 07 Honda Ridgeling. The bulbs mount top and bottom at the 3 point part that keys their mounting suggests. In these LED models, they mount left & right which seems wrong but it is not. So do not get frustrated that they do not fir properly. I also did not require any additional parts to prevent flicking as the packaging and other comment may suggest be needed. I have no flicking and the high / low beams work great and as required. Not in the 07 Ridgeline anyways. If you have some rubber covers that cover the backs to prevent debris from getting into your headlights. You will have to open them up some to allow for the cooling vents. I did this previously on another model of headlight with a pair of scissors. 5 minute job. Also, do to the size of the cooling vents in the back of the LED's, you will have to finagle the wire thing that locks your bulbs in place a bit to get around it. Personally, I am, not mechanically inclined buy have changed my bulbs before and this took about 5 to 7 minutes for me to put in both. I will also note that the female plugs that are standard in my truck were not deep enough to receive the male plugs of the LED bulbs. They fell short by about 1/8". I imagine you could cut them shorter with something, tape them together or do what I did and that was nothing. I should throw some electrical tape on them but probably will not.

These bulbs are fantastic! I absolutely LOVE the fact that I didn't need to install a load resistor for these to work. They are incredibly bright and the 6500k blue light definitely helps better at night. Anyone trying to decide between halogen and LED needs to understand this: halogens are more directional and LED's are more scattered. In other words, these LED's headlights help me see better at night because it gives me more light around the vehicle; however, they do not help me to see further ahead. Obviously, this is my opinion, and others may feel different about it, but these help me much better to see directly in front of me, not to see further ahead in the road. But they make a huge difference over halogen lights for sure!

I got these for my 2003 G35 sedan. I have HID headlights, but this bulb still works for the lower section, aka fog light/high beam portion of g35 sedan and coupe headlight assembies. So I installed it there and the difference from the stock to this is just extraordinary, great output, great color and lighting, I could not be more happy. And it was just plug and play, as simple as changing out the bulb. Definitely recommend these to anyone, they are LED and will outlast any other style bulb any day and the light produced by them is incredible. Check out the photos for this bulb compared to my OEM bulb.

UPDATE: New headlights came out as soon as I raised the problem with SENLITE. Really pleased with the lights but even more so with SENLITE. I'd definitely recommend these.

Popped these into my 2006 Tacoma and loved the bright clear light. Unfortunately, had one of the bulbs go out after about 6 weeks of use. Attempting to work through warranty process, so I'll update as resolved.
