This counter gap is effective and keeps critters away by avoiding food particles and oil to be spilled in between the stove and the counter. This was a constant issue at home and we started noticing little critters coming out from that gap and ants as well. After cleaning the gap ares and under the stove well I installed the and they work as intended. The rubber silicone material is easy to clean and maintain as well. Mine is a bit longer than needed and while I have the option to cut it to fit I chose to take the extra material and go a little up the back wall to keep things from rolling to the back section as well. It sticks well to our stone surface and the rubber clips make pressure to keep it in place. Very happy with this item after several weeks of use.

These are a wonderful Kitchen must!!! They keep any crumbs or sauces or any other spills from going between the stove and your counter tops. Really a lifesaver when all you have to do is wipe down the Silicone cover and your done. No more having to move the stove when you spill the sauce removing it from the stove.

I like the concept of this product. Sadly this product doesn't work for my kitchen setup. If you have a stove that sits higher than your counter with a close gap this product will not work you. I thought after looking at some reviews that it would work for me but it doesn't. The product is silicone and very easy to clean.
