These lancets are working great for me and I will continue ordering them so I won't run out of them.

These work fine and I would buy again. Colors probably work well for children if they need to be stuck with these little buggers, this way they can choose and make it a little easier on them if they do not like the whole process. My cat does not care what color they are. Probably could make some cool colorful art with the round tabs you have to tear off to keep some part of it recycled. (of course not around very small children and supervised for older children) The sharp though should be disposed of properly in a Biohazard can. I do not use them in a controller, I use them manually since I am sticking my cats ear, they are small enough to use a folded 4x4 gauze cloth under the ear when sticking from on top. Use at your own risk though and I am not giving any instructions on how to do this. Just expressing how I use them in case you are already doing this or decide to manual it yourself. They are thin and short enough to prick the area for a blood sample but not enough to go through the gauze and hit my finger. Of course my cat is the most perfect patient so I have not issues with his movement. Great pricing for these.

Giving it 5 stars because, well I am not sure. I actually hate them, just for the fact that I have to use them. Painful, makes you bleed, why should anything like that be given any stars? lol They work as described and come in many different colors, none of which seem to ease the blood, prick or heartbeat in my finger. But hey, they are what they are and they work, same could be said for anything sharp. I will continue to get these for the rest of my life because they are so fun and whimsical, bright and joyful for something so bloody painful.

like others I have tried several different brands of lancets - they all perform the job of puncturing the skin however I have found these Care Touch lancets meet all of my expectations - they come in an array of colors, if I must poke my finger let's make it colorful plus they seem to always get enuf blood out for a successful test - they come in a box of 300, for me lessens the need to constantly repurchase, they also have a long shelf life, very important to me - they fit my pen, I need the 30 gauge, some other manufacturer products have 30 gauge but they just don't fit quite right in my Livongo pen, so I can twist off the top of the lancet while it is in the pen - in my opinion an overall a quality product that I will continue to purchase until I no longer need to purchase lancets - hope this feedback helps - thanks, Kimberlie

I give 4 stars to these lancets. I didn't give 5 stars because I have nothing to compare them to as I am new to using a glucose meter. Honestly, my primary reason for this particular purchase is the cost -- they were cheaper than my local pharmacy. These lancets do their intended job and they shipped quickly so I can say that, unless my doctor tells me I no longer need to check my blood sugar, I will definitely purchase these again.
