Excellent for flexibility and strengthening!

As a former rhythmic gymnast, I have used a number of stretching aides and tools over the years, but this has to be my favorite! The website and included booklet have great suggestions for different strengthening and stretching exercises. In the short few weeks I have been using it, I have regained a lot of flexibility, particularly in my middle splits. The thicker band is more sturdy and well built than other stretch bands I have used in the past, and the thinner band is perfect for stretching and strengthening toes, ankles, etc. A great set of bands at a great price - definitely recommend!

I bought this as requested by my daughter's dance teacher. It's easy to use and she likes to use it to stretch while watching tv. This really helps her stretch when she's at home and doesn't have an instructor to guide her. Just an FYI for purchasers: After washing the band with soap and water it was tacky and would stick to itself and collect dirt. After rubbing the band with cornstarch this was no longer a problem.

I am returning to ballet as an adult and decided to buy these to help with stretching before and after class. So far, they've been working really well and are holding up. The packaging is great and convenient -- the ballet stretch band even comes in its own little pouch. It would have been nice to have a separate pouch for the resistance band as well. My hands tend to smell like latex after using them, but it goes away after you wash with soap. I definitely recommend these for dancers looking to improve their flexibility.
