Came as described. Paper is medium brown, so with the waterproof pen I bought, it's a little hard to see the things I write. Haven't had the opportunity to test it out in the rain or humid conditions yet. Has a very weird and offensive odor associated with it that you can smell whenever it is around - similar to how most other military issue metal equipment smells.
