I found less stainless than i felt could warrant advertising as such.. I also found slight unbraiding in the nonstainless rope.

First of all I liked the price. Great power.I use to pull logs out of the woods. The rollers for guiding the cable are worthless. The company used nylon bushings for bearings which broke down in less than five hours of use. I'm hoping this is all that will go wrong. The wireless remote works great.

Same as the Badlands winch from Harbor Freight, perfect for non-commercial applications. Not as durable as a Warn unit, but for a 1/4 of the price of a Warn, these are good if you're carefull with them.

I bought it and I returned it. The drum would not "free-wheel". If Bob Dylan had been that 'Free-wheeling,' he'd have been Barry Manilow. Yes, the clutch was disengaged; no, I didn't waste more time troubleshooting. I called my off-road expert--a real person--who said "It's supposed to let out line with no effort," so back in the box with the winch.
