They came unbroken

I bought these for my daughter who LOVES them because the price dropped a little! We put them up so she can have them as a Christmas present. But they came unbroken! The packaging that they are in is very protective in my opinion. My only wish is that these little things weren't so expensive! However Amazon has seemed so far to have the best price for them.
***Also thanks to my daughter and her YouTube videos (lol) I also found out there is a playground set for these where you can put the egg in the middle and it goes up and crack it on the way. It's super cute! You can find it if you search hatchimals playground set. I'm not 100% sure of the name.

Don’t buy more then one carton (12 pack)!

The first carton was great! The second was both an embarrassment & disappointment! Why on earth would I get sent two packages of identical hatchimals? I will say this is the first time something like this has happened, but it was upsetting.

If you don't know your kid loves hatchimals, I recommend starting with a smaller pack. I see reviews complaining the kid didn't like them, and that's ridiculous. Every kid is different, they like different things, don't immediately buy the most expensive and largest version off the bat if you don't need to. But for kids who DO already love hatchimals, getting this jumbo pack is like a dream come true to them.
My only complaints are that the two out of egg characters are the ensure you get one of two limited edition guys. But that right away means if you buy more than one of these, you're getting at least one repeat. Both the kids and me (for the sake of the value of my dollar) would prefer just 12 random eggs, rather than 10 random and 2 pre-selected.
And my other complaint is at least one of the guys in this "season 2" set was from season 1

3/12 eggs cracked on delivery. Which kinda spoils the point of the toy.

These were really fun for my 5 year old to open. She opened one a day so she had a small surprise to lool forward to for about a week. Sje thought they were the cutest. The blue egg carton storage box they come in is also very nice sturdy material.
