Just the right saltiness
Sir Roderick✓ Verified Purchase•October 12, 2023
This is one big bag of peanuts. The price per ounce is a good value. And I thought they had just the right amount of salt on them. Overall, they taste pretty good, but I can't quite call them premium peanuts. They're kind of small and they don't have that nice crunch that some name-brand peanuts do. Plus, the bag has a lot of peanut skins in it. But generally speaking, I feel like I got my money's worth, and this bag will last me for at least a month. I look forward to lots of great homemade trail mix.
Yummy

Use for my Human-Grade, Vegan Suet Cakes - What a Deal
Devi Vasquez✓ Verified Purchase•August 28, 2023
I have taken years to perfect a human-grade (humans can eat) & not just Vegetarian, but Vegan Suet Cake.
They said it couldn't be done, without lard & all that other yucky stuff, b/c supposedly Wild Birds in my yard in Ann Arbor need to be eating lard!
I don't think so.
Anyway, finding my ingredients is $$$ with the nuts being pretty much my largest cost-sink. But these are a deal! I still sometimes buy the Mixed Nuts or even other brands, but these are just such a good deal per ounce.
For real, I have a Downy Woodpecker I saved her from a Hawk 3 years ago - she is at my feeder Every Single Day. I've seen her in blizzards, leaning against the tree. She has her OWN Nut Feeder, I didn't know Woodpeckers at Nuts like this, but she's been at it for 3 years now. It's HER feeder. And I had switched from the bigger named brands to these, slowly but surely, she LOVES them!
Just this week I had to buy her a new Nut feeder, hers had a lot of pecking marks, so I put the Happy Belly Peanuts in one, the Happy Belly Mixed Nuts in the other, hung about 7' feet up, & my Woodpecker lost it!
She's now guarding TWO Nut Feeders, all day, sun up to sun down, mainly from other Downys, also a few XL Hairy Woodpeckers who come from the woods, & my other fave, Big Red! That's the Red Bellied Woodpeckers, who will eat these Nuts or my Suet Cakes.
I also have a huge family of pure Comedy, the angry fighting Red Squirrels, I had maybe 4, now I have a dozen, & they fight EVERYONE. I watch them grab a Nut, run 20' away, quickly bury it, come back, over & over. They don't like their own kind, other Squirrels, Birds, but they too love these Nuts!
At night I have my male Chompers, those are my Opossums, & Raccoons, both eat everything, & will tear down all bird & Nut feeders they can find. Plus, I had 22 Wild Turkeys in my yard, it was like a Zoo, they love the Nuts & Black Sunflower Seeds.
Anyway, big thumbs up from me in AA, & from my Woodpeckers, 30 other bird species, angry squirrels, Chompers, & Baby Raccoons, oh, & Hank, they're the Groundhogs who live under my garage, but are sleeping right now, they love the Nuts too!
