Pro: not bad as a pillow
Con: smells like cooking oil that rubs off on everything making it smell like oil. My girlfriend laid on it for a few minute and her hair smells like really bad cooking oil. If it didn't have this smell I may be able to use it. However I will most likely toss it out since I can not return it. I would much prefer buckwheat hulls since it does not have this oily scent.

I have had two millet pillows for over ten years. They are pretty pricey and one needed to be replaced. You can imagine my absolute joy when I discovered that I could buy a 5 lb bag of organic millet seeds for less than 1/2 half the price of two new pillows. I emptied the old millet out, washed the inner cases, refilled them and Voila! two new pillows. I love millet pillows as they are so easily adjustable and support my head and neck with great flexibility and support. Both my partner and I had suffered neck problems which disappeared after finding this type pillow. As an added bonus, millet pillows are not attractive to dust mites. I would highly recommend these millet hulls for a variety of pillows and other uses.
