Nice garage lights but…

I added six of the LED light strips to my garage making it well lit, especially for when I need to work on something out in the garage. Four lights are connected to a motion-activated ceiling socket using a screw in socket adapter. Another two lights are plugged into the garage doors' light sockets with adapters. I love how they all work automatically. HOWEVER, THESE LED LIGHTS GENERATE TOO MUCH INTERFERENCE on the LiftMaster garage door openers' frequency when they were on. My garage door remotes would only open or close the doors if the lights were off. After much research for a cheaper fix than replacing the LiftMaster openers with newer ones that uses a different frequency I stumbled upon a CHEAP $5 HACK that works perfectly. I bought some door bell wire and attached it to the end of the antenna wire with a wire nut. I ran about 15 feet of the door bell wire across the ceiling and out the edge of the garage door frame so it sticks out about 1/2" just below the garage door header. Now my garage door openers in my cars will operate the doors normally again.

These light offer a lot of light at a low price. So low that you will have to replace the whole unit when it dies, which is less than replacing bulbs in a standard fixture.
I put 7 of these in our basement and 1 extra if one needs to be replaced.
Easy install if you have the white porcelain fixtures with the pull string to turn on and off in place. Just remove light bulb and screw in an outlet adapter. Each light has its own power cord to pug into the fixture or gang the lights together

These were beyond my expectations when it comes to how bright they are.
Worked great in a little workshop area we have in the basement.

I got these lights for my barn. I didn't realize that the bulbs cannot be replaced, so if you intend to leave the lights on more than the norm, you might want to consider something with replaceable bulbs. They are super bright...but the downfall and reason for my lower rating - I had wanted to use the chains to hang them, but no matter what I did to adjust them, the lights were crooked. We ended up attaching a small piece of strapping board to the light and drilling a screw through the center, and then attached the board to the ceiling frame.
