The light is easy to install, is very bright, shuts off in only 30 second without movement, and is very sensitive. But the sensitivity cannot be adjusted. I can be two rooms away and the light turns on when used in an attached home garage. This is best suited in a very large detached garage/pole building. I wish the sensitivity was adjustable for attached garages. The light came with no instructions but there was enough information on the Amazon website to ensure the light was in the correct mode. I still give it 4.5 stars.
Update: I found that if I turned on the light switch only when I need the light, to avoid the lights oversensitivity, the light will automatically turn off if I forget to turn off the switch, providing an auto-off option. Thus I will give the light 5 stars.

The lights on my garage door openers never worked reliably. I was skeptical about this product but decided to take a chance. Installation was a as simple as screwing in a light bulb. (Ok, I had to mount a socket, but that was no problem.) This gives plenty of light centered in a 2-bay garage, and the movement of the doors turns it on. Sensitivity seems to vary by ambient conditions - sometimes it goes on when I open the garage door, sometimes I have to step into the garage. It is only an inconvenience, not a problem, no points deduction.
It is also petty sturdy. During installation I knocked it off the ladder and it fell 4 ft to the cement floor. A lens popped out, but I could pop it back in. There was no damage, although I would not recommend trying. it. It is a plastic after all.
If you intend to use it as the regular garage interior light, don't forget that it will turn off if it does not detect movement.
