I bought this to replace an Escort Solo 2. Compared to the Solo, the SP has very few false alarms.
My only con: the power cord has a strange connection (like an Ethernet cord jack) that doesn't look very robust.

I just got it and had the chance to use on a couple of short trips. The detector is very sensitive on the real signals while the filter works very well eliminating the unwanted noise from the new cars with the blind spot detectors. So far I love it!!
