I really like this little bag, especially for the money, $42 or whatever it was. I use it with a MacBook Pro, and the fit and protection are perfect...slides in super easy, just a side zipper. I don't use the strap, just the carry handle. The two outside pockets are kinda small, but I've learned to just not carry so much crap. Lol. I suppose the one thing...this really is strictly for the laptop, and maybe let's say a dozen or something papers you might want to stuff in there...or a small/thin folder. It's not anything like a briefcase. But again, I found that really at this point I very seldom need to bring a bunch of paper like the old days, so when I have to do that, then yeah, it's a separate bag. But the vast majority of life now, this skinny and protective bag is great to throw the MBP in and throw it around in a car or larger bag or whatever. Buy with confidence, I really like it.

I purchased this bag, October 2021, and have used it regularly since receiving it. It's well made, nice looking, functional, roomy, and durable. This week I learned how much protection it provides to it's contents.
I usually carry my 16" Samsung laptop and my 12.9" Apple iPad Pro in the main compartment. Monday, I was involved in a vehicle accident that caused the contents of the vehicle to fly violently across the vehicle, including my Tomtoc laptop bag, with my laptop and iPad inside. There was enough force to rip the strap from the bag (apparently the strap hung on part of the seat) yet neither my laptop nor my iPad were damaged.
I promptly ordered a replacement bag (same model, newer version) which I received yesterday.

I bought this for my new Macbook because I am going to be traveling and writing. First, the design is just great. The zippers are well-sewn, slide easily and close without a gap. The two pockets (one large, one small, are great for storing the plug, cable and strap when not in use. The strap is wide, padded and very comfortable for this slim line vase. Best part of all it opens from the side - very easy to slide in and out- and the padding inside INCLUDING the corners is wonderful. AND, the soft material casing is waterproof - talk about intelligent design. I would buy this again in a minute

I purchased the dark blue laptop shoulder bag for my Macbook Air 15" M2 2023. The laptop fits perfectly inside the bag. It's snug but not too tight. The inside of the bag is very soft, plush & also overlaps the side of the laptop below the zipper so it does not scratch it. All 4 corners have reinforced padding & the area running between the corners is also nicely padded.
The 2 front pockets are roomy & keeps your stuff organized. There is also a thin rear pocket along the length of the bag for notebook paper or a note pad. The handle looks & feels like leather & the adjustable shoulder pad is nicely padded & removable.
The outside of the bag is a nice vibrant dark blue, is not bulky looking & is water resistant. There is no funny chemical smell like some other brands of bags.
The bag arrived in perfect condition & looks very well made. I am very impressed with the quality of the bag & am happy with my purchase.

The TomToc MCB Pro bag is very slim, yet has good padding and corner protections for the laptop. There's only room for the barest necessities, including the charger, a docking dongle, and a few cables. The laptop compartment zips from the side, and the laptop slips in. It's not likely to slip out if you forget to zip it. I would like it better if the zippers had two pulls. I find myself looking for the tab. The zippers are medium duty, but of good quality and smooth operation.
