my 8 and 11 yo's can open this much better than our Kids Konserve thermoses. and i love that these are stainless steel on the tops too! after putting in the boiling water to pre-warm the containers, the outside of the thermos was not hot - so i know the thermal properties are great. i completely recommend.

Perfect Thermal container for my 14-year old's large appetite! He was in camp and all the lunch boxes were placed in a refrigerator for 4 hours but the food in his container was still hot! Great tip - I fill up the container with boiling water first - let it "heat up" for a few minutes and then empty and place the hot food inside. This was a great idea by my already-favorite lunch container makers. I love Lunch Bots! Plus larger opening - much easier to eat from than standard 16oz containers....Word of advice - do not close the lid overly tight - it' still sealed but much easier to open! Highly recommend this container!
