I wanted a travel carry on that had room for my phot gear and a change of clothes & jacket plus some toiletries. This held everything great for a week trip to Iceland. I was using a Peak Designs medium cube inside thios bag and it fit well. A little tought to get in and out of the side zipper but that wasnt reall a big concern. I always worry about zipper strength with these type of bags but this one didn't have any issues at all.

Loved the backpack. Extra compartments throughout the backpack. Cool color green. The only downfall to this backpack there was a strong smell to it. We even aired it out before using it. Put Bounce fabric laundry sheet in it. We could not get rid of the smell. It was like a wet rusty metal smell. Had to return it because we did not want our clothes to take on the smell.

The medium size is adequate for a two-day trip. Lots of room and you can carry it in 3 different ways. Would buy again but would get the largest size.
