Not loud when in a car but works good.

I bought 2 of these after one of our cars was broken into to help deter it happening again. They work fine, I was able to program both remotes to work with both alarms, so we can have one on each key chain. We set the alarms at night and turn off in the morning. They go off if you pull on the door handle or bump the car, the downfall is that you can barely hear the alarm when it's closed in the car. Hopefully it will be enough to scare a thief off during the quiet night but we would never hear it inside the house.
Easy to install, noise maker to make it harder to steal.

I needed something to make noise if someone disturbs my scooter when I'm in a restaurant or bodega. The price was perfect, and the installation is put in the two AA Batteries, then peel, and stick it out of sight. The remote has decent range and is easy to operate.

The only problem I had was the installation tape is not quite as strong as it needs to be. After two weeks it fell off my door and now is a little more sensitive. I ended up using latex caulk around it to secure it. Has a sensitivity setting built in but when I turn it on it still needs to chime three times. Instructions on setting are horrible so takes awhile to make sure you have it right
I bought this out of concern of getting a catalytic converter stolen.

My car has a factory alarm system, but it doesn't react to motion disturbance. We were going on vacation and this seemed like a solution. It's very loud, is remote-controlled, and sensitive to motion. I was concerned about false activation. I was able to tuck it under the car with the speaker facing down. My car was just outside of my hotel room. Happily, no false alarms. I deactivated it with the FOB, removed it from beneath the car, and continued the trip.
The highest setting seemed ok for sensitivity. Lowering the sensitivity didn't seem to change much so I left it at full. I tried putting it under the hood, but it didn't seem loud enough. I didn't want to permanently install it so I didn't try the double backed mounting patch.
