I purchased 2 units for two separate driveways. This meant I needed two separate ring tones and there were plenty to choose from. Installation was so easy. Had to adjust the sensor to eliminate it going off when cars went by but that is all part of getting the units dialed in.
This is a GREAT product and gives our family peace of mind. Definitely a product worth purchasing.

I am not getting any money for this nor did I get any discount on the item. I do live in the middle of nowhere and have tried numerous alarm systems. They all share the same problem - false alarms. This system has NO false alarms. It also carries a long way - 680 feet in my case, does not require electricity for the sensors, has an easy to understand base unit and does NOT require wifi - that one alone is VERY important - no blue-tooth to always be reconnecting, finding, dropping and all that hassle of basically never working. This works seamlessly - I have four and recommend you do too - you will want all of them. I know when a vehicle or pedestrian enters my property and can tell you exactly how far down my driveway they travel all the way up to the last sensor at my front door.

[original 10/10/22] My main concern is the bottom flap. Will the micro USB port and the toggle switches rust out? We shall see. Several hours in and it's working perfectly!
I wish they would add a like dial that would let you select one of 20 chimes.

For the past 3 years, we have been using the Htzsafe 1/4 mile driveway alarm. This 1/2 mile range is better. There's a bunch of walls to go through, so I'm sure neither will go the rated distance, but at least these are not arbitrary numbers. This eMACROS is longer range than Htzsafe

The Htzsafe only has a single button on the sensor and was very finicky to set the range (it was also used for on/off and pairing). The toggle on this eMACROS was appealing to me for that reason. But, it's a possible point of failure. So we shall see. However, the Htzsafe had 50, 30 and 25 foot ranges, this eMACROS only has 20 and 30. I'm not quite sure what I had the Htzsafe set to lol it was so finicky, I just know it was not enough out of the box and I had to turn it up, and after several tries it worked better. So far the 30 feet range is working well, and my driveway is about 30 feet wide.

The Htzsafe hung directly on the outlet which was perfect for me, but this eMACROS is more options, you can put it anywhere, and it can be battery-powered. So I found a different place to put this eMACROS since it can't hang on the outlet, and it's fine. It does have an eye hole to hang it on a screw so it can be hung, just not directly on the plug.

The Htzsafe had more chimes. The receiver only had 2 buttons, but that was okay, following the instruction manual (don't throw that away on something with so few buttons!) I could change the chime, some were longer some were shorter. It appears this eMACROS only has one chime per channel. So if you put 4 sensors on this receiver, you have no choice of chime. The main thing I want to change is how calm it is, and how long it is. Maybe some toggles to change that for a future version?

Mounting this thing to a tree was weird, but if you watch the main video (for now - amazon pages change over time) they show rotating the sensor 45 degrees so you can get a screwdriver to the mounting hole. I didn't think to do it that way lol. I'll leave it at that. The Htzsafe was much easier to mount and seemed too loose, yet it never fell/sagged for 3 years. Both work, but if you plan on moving it all over the place and readjusting until you get it within an inch of where you need it, the Htzsafe would be easier in that regard. The Htzsafe also used a standard ball so you could use other mounts. This one looks like it uses a ball, but it's not a ball and socket. it actually has a screw holding the 'ball' on, there is no socket. You can loosen or tighten the screw, but you have the unmount the square plate to get to it. This one basically is made to aim straight ahead, and that's all I need unless it starts having issues.

Works well. Mounting plate is light duty and possibly easy to break. Concerned a deer or coyote might get interested in it and tear it off the tree! They already attack my camera trap... Sensitivity even on low is possibly too high to eliminate triggers from animal traffic so lots of false alarms.

Easy to set up and install. Worked well for a couple of weeks but after that it works about half the time. Not reliable to alert every time a vehicle drives past it. Batteries went dead after a couple weeks but does come with a cord. I didn't want a cord hanging but batteries too expensive to replace often
