Works very nicely as a motion sensor alarm. The sensitivity and range are excellent. It can detect a car moving in the street about a hundred feet away. Just plug it in and it works.

The downside of this product is that all of the tones that it makes are terrible. Apparently the designer thought the product should sound ringtones as if it was a phone. Instead of a brief chime, you get long duration music that assumes the listener wants to hear a concert.

Perhaps it's just me, but I prefer not to listen to Beethoven's Fur Elise when motion is detected. Neither do I want to listen to a Happy Birthday jingle if there is a prowler in my driveway at 3:00 a.m.

The same goes for Christmas jingles, children's jingles, and strange noises with people saying something I cannot understand. All of sounds this thing makes are terrible except for the one that I found which is a ding dong chime.

That one sound is exactly the same as my doorbell sound, so I finally turned it off and just use the light.

The range is pretty great for item of this size and cost. The fact you get 4 sensors is cool. This one had over 2K reviews with 4+ stars as of August 2023. There are some others out there with more reviews but have fewer sensors and different features. Did not need anything fancy with a long\wide sensor range, just something that works and is easy to setup.
A rep from the store reached out to see if the item arrived in good condition and if everything worked and if I had hay questions. That was unexpected, but was great to see they check on you.

It is easy to install and works well. HOWEVER - of the 38 door chime sound options there is really only one that is a "Regular" door chime (&-11 Style). The rest are very odd for a door chime - Little sayings, Holiday themed, Etc. I kept scrolling through and heard the one regular one and figured I'd cycle through the rest to see if there was something a little better. There are at most 3 that would be considered your normal door chime.

I use a couple of these in the backyard to alert me to the presence of raccoons, which are digging up the grass. Very sensitive, they even detect birds in the daytime. Wish I could make them turn on the sprinkler system!

Some people seem to have the wrong idea about what this is. It's not really a outdoor driveway alert nor is it an indoor alarm system. It is an indoor motion alerter. It makes a noise when it senses motion. Think like a doorbell chime. That is it. You cannot use it outdoors and it does not have threatening tones to scare away burglars-- just door chime type tones.

I got this because I live in an apartment and some guy tried to break in my window months ago. I already have cameras and guns but wanted something to wake me up if someone breaks in my door while I am sleeping. This is day 1 of having this but so far I have been pleasantly surprised! I placed one sensor at my back door and another in my living room. It's a distance of probably about 50-75 feet and through 2-3 walls and doors. Surprisingly it works very very well so far! It is loud enough where it should be able to wake me up at night. I do have it plugged in near the floor (lack of other outlets) so I am worried about it possibly waking up the downstairs apartment neighbors when I get up to use the bathroom at night but I will have to sort that out later.

Minus one star for the mounting hardware being a bit on the cheap side. However it does still mount just fine and is adequate. Also I should note this seems to be a generic setup from China. I notice many different brand names/sellers for this on Amazon which appear to be the same components. I will update the review if anything bad happens so no news is good news!
