Great indoor/ourdoor carpet!

This is a great piece of indoor/outdoor carpet. Using heavy-duty scissors, I cut a 46" x 46" piece to place just inside my front door to catch snow and mud that my dog brings in. It cuts like butter, and the cut edges do not ravel. It lies flat, no curl. I also cut a much smaller piece out of the roll to use as outdoor entrance mats, and I cut a 40" x 40" piece to serve as a non-slip mat in front of the shower (my bathroom's tile floor is extremely slippery when wet). The bathroom-floor piece of indoor-outdoor carpet can easily be picked up and hosed off outside and dried in the sun when needed.

We bought this to cover up a concrete patio that is quite unsightly- has several cracks in it & severely discolored (see before/after pix). This carpet is perfect- clean looking, same color as concrete, much more comfortable to stand on, cooler in the summer, simple to put down & the rubber backing will prevent water from making the cracks even bigger. The only negative is it doesn't dry as fast as the concrete did after a rain but this is a much cheaper alternative to pouring a whole new concrete pad! We love it!

this carpet is a very nice find! the profile is thin enough to easily cut and manage, but not so thin as to feel flimsy or cheap. the rubber backing is a huge plus for the price. i've installed this carpet on new water sealed marine grade plywood for a 14ft aluminum boat. i like the low pile and the texture. i'll be sure to update the review after about 6 months to report its wear.
