Works great...for 31 days...

I got this 31 days ago. It worked fine. I used it to listen to podcasts in my non-bluetooth enabled car (I know...the horror). The return window closed yesterday...but today, on my way to work, this cord completely stopped working. Only makes static when the lightning cable is connected. I have an iPhone 7, so no headphone jack. Do yourself a favor and just don't buy this cord...or maybe return it at the 29 day mark. So aggravating!

As a first time iPhone user, I was somewhat disappointed that of the several aux cords i had lying around, none would allow me to hook my newly purchased iPhone 7 to my car speakers. I rely heavily on this feature, since I travel in sketchy reception areas quite often and don't particularly enjoy radio static, nor since in the car. This handy little cord fixed that problem and I couldn't be happier, singing along to my downloaded music, sounding like Carrie Underwood (despite my children's appalling contradiction). It is the perfect length to be used in the car. It seems to be made pretty well and should last a good while as well.

I've had braided cords in the past and have had good luck, so I wanted to definitely stick with that type when I was looking for a new one. Since I'm an iPhone user, but many of my friends aren't, I decided to buy this one since it had both the pin connection and the standard auxiliary hookup. Blue tooth connections don't always work, so this is a must have for me. Durable and good sound quality. Not disappointed at this point, update to follow if I have issues.

I got this cord specifically for my teenage daughter. She recently got a new I phone 7 for her birthday and the cord that comes with the I phone is so short and it's hard to reach it when you're trying to use it. When I found out that this cord is 6 foot long I knew it would be perfect for her. She uses her other cord for in the car when she needs to plug it in. The cord is very nice and think and extremely durable and doesn't get tangled. Having your phone cord tangle is one of the worst things when you're trying to get your phone all plugged in. She says now it's a breeze. My daughter loves that when she needs a strong connection between her phone and the car radio, or her ihome it works great. This is the best cord that we've found and since it's compatible to not only the iphones but also android then that's even better because my husband has an Android. I'm happy that it's universal. She'll be using this cord for a very long time due to its durability.

I bought this as a gift for my friend who has an iPhone 7 and has been complaining about not being able to multi-task, and she loves it so far. Although she has not had it for long, she has no complaints so far and is happy to finally be able to do the things she wants without having to pick and choose. Due to the iPhone 7 not having an audio jack plug, she was upset when she found she couldn't plug her phone up in the car for music. With this adapter, she can. She called me earlier to let me know that the cable is working well so far and seems to be very durable. I'll update my review if her thoughts change, but so far it seems like a very good aux adapter.
