After trying a different muzzle which my dog got off in less than a minute, I decided to try this one. This one works very well, and I love that you can adjust the tightness around the snout. I keep my dogs on the loosest, so he is still able to drink and open his mouth to an extent but is unable to nip or bite at the other dogs. He only needs this when he is out with ALL the dogs, which is not too too often. So, for the amount of time we actually need this muzzle, it works great.

It works well, I purchased two for two large dogs. The Med fits my 50lb Australian Shepard mix well and the Large fits my Southern Black Mouth Cur. These are used to keep them from bothering my chickens and conditioning them with my new ponies. They are comfortable for them to wear but just like any other muzzle, you have to train your dog to get used to wearing it. They will attempt to spend time trying to take any muzzle off until you train them not to.

Works great! Even seems pretty comfortable considering it is a muzzle. It's very soft. My dog doesn't typically need a muzzle but on the ferry boat we take to go hiking in Catalina, dogs have to be muzzled. When I first saw this I thought it looked kind of scary with all the buckles, but my dog seems to prefer it over all the other canvas and mesh ones I tried on her and it looks a lot more sleek on. Doesn't dig into her eyes like the canvas and mesh ones as well.
A muzzle provides safety to people who don't know your loving pooch.

Scooby is a 60 lb Kelpy/hound mix who loves to bark. He is aggressive in his friendliness and does intimidate people as he runs, tail a waggin toward everybody barking his head off. He's 7 years old and has never bitten anybody but, to be save - and the description did say this would aid in stopping barking - it didn't in Scooby's case but, people can see the muzzle and they are less afraid as he runs to say "Hi!, Pet me!" . (We did try training....he just forgets everything once he sees somebody that will pet him.)
