The wood pieces are good shapes but they are a bit short for my project. I guess the pictures were a little misleading as far as length goes. Not a big deal, I used rubber glue and glued a few pieces together and my project still worked out. Pretty good amount for the price.

I have a 6 sided tall fish tank that I keep cichlids in. I looked everywhere for some type of decor that allowed hiding spots but none were tall enough. So I purchased this and superglued them together to make one big ornamental piece. My only suggestion"¦ be sure and read about prepping them for an aquarium. You have to boil them for several hours to get the tannin out of them and then soak (with frequent water changes) for 7 days before placing them in an aquarium. These steps are crucial to maintain a healthy environment for your aquarium.

I got exactly what I expected. There was about 20 pieces between four and nine inches. I was expecting most of them to be smaller but it was a great variety. All of them looked very natural with only one that looked like it had an edge that got broken off a tree. Overall I am very pleased. My hamster loves them. What I got in this package was fantastically priced considering some of the individual pieces out there. I will be buying this again.
