I bought this cord in the intention that it was a 15 amp power cord but it is not. It is a 13 Amp extension cord and rated for 1625 watts so if you need a 15 amp cord do not buy these. And remember all 16 guage cords are 13 amp and below. And 14 guage and 12 guage is rated for 15 amps 1875 watts.
