I would like to this helmet 5 stars as it seems to be quite sturdy and has an adjustable inner band. I ordered a Medium (which says fits 5-8 year old), but even with the adjustable band/straps it was too small for a 5 year old, who does tend to wear larger head gear.. I returned for a larger size.
So glad we got this one for my 2 year old

This hat is a little more pricey than some of the other hats I had found....but worth it!! I saw how several other styles didn't haven't the adjustable head strap inside, but this one does. It also has a chin strap to help it stay on too. So glad we got this one for my 2 year old

Great hat! I put some black vinyl on it to customize it to match his daddy's. According to the label, it's a real hard hat - like OSHA compliant, take it on a job site. I'm using it for fun, and don't see the need to take the 10 month old anywhere so dangerous that protective gear would be warranted, but I think it speaks to the quality of the little hat. It's really a bit overkill for my purposes. It's legit looking, because it's actually legit. It even has a little chin strap so he can be adorable wether he wants to or not! Fun times!

I was extremely disappointed. I ordered 2 hats as a little gift for my grandchildren. One arrived broken--but I wasn't about to take it away from him to exchange it. He would have been devastated. So I did a "make-shift" fix for him. I ordered one size for a 2-4 year old, and the other was 3-6. They were exactly the same size--no difference in size. I had to take the inner parts out one so it would fit the older boy. I would not recommend this.
