Arrived with packing ripped and edges of vinyl exposed and damaged. Worked for my application. Black vinyl has no lettering which was good as it looks less "industrial". Worked great as a manageable weight for sound isolation.

Product edges were damaged pretty badly from shipping. Luckily I haven't needed the full 4' yet. Covered my wheel-wells and it made my van a lot quieter. It does have a tendency to tear so you have to take care cutting slight curves into corners.

I used this to create a sound barrier in an apartment building by putting it over stringers and then laying 5/8" sheetrock on top of it. The weight is half of the next version (and the cost much lower), but the sound performance is very close based on the data I found online. I was able to handle it myself using the shelf on my stepladder as a deadman to hold the roll while I stapled the top into place. Important to go over with a better fastener than the staples once it's in place - using the insulation stapler I was able to do this myself as I said. not sure if I could have done otherwise. highly recommend this.

It unrolls mostly flat, even in a cold attic. NO heavy oder to vent out. It smooths a plywood floor nicely. I bought 1 roll, then 2 more. My attic/shop does not migrate sound from below.
