Nice quality and looks great!

Been using this for a couple of months now and it's worked great. No problems with even a 15" MacBook Pro being held. Has *just* enough space in the cubby on the bottom for a 6 port USB charger and Apple charger.
If you're OCD like me then you're going to have fun trying to figure out exactly how best to route the charging cables. You'll want some way of holding the cables so that they don't end up getting lost in the cubby below when they're not being used to charge something. I ended up using some cheap cable organizer clips which have double sided tape on them which so far works great.
Best part is that this really does look nice and seems well built. I have this setup on our kitchen counter and the bamboo looks great next to our bamboo kitchen cabinets.

I am so glad I ordered this. It's perfect and my kitchen island is so much more organized. I hated trying to find places to charge all my devices. It holds my work laptop, personal phone, workphone, fitbit, and my kids Fire tablet with the thick case on it. I ran the fitbit charger cord through one of the front holes. There is room for more as well. I have nothing on one of the slots. It hides the laptop cord and all the charging cords. I ordered some colored short cords and it is so perfect for my needs. The magnets are strong. My only qualm is the very back divider is very slightly wobbly so I was wary of leaning my laptop against the back. I just lean it forward and it isn't really an issue. I am glad I got it with the usb 5 port charger. It could easily fit one of the 10 slot ones instead.

Love it with one exception. As you can see from the seller's photos, the Apple Watch attachment is placed horizontally so the Nightstand feature of the watch won't work. So think twice before ordering the Apple Watch charging dock attachment if you want to use that feature. If you don't care about the Nightstand feature then you'll be very happy with the quality. Hopefully the manufacturer will come up with a way to hold the watch in the correct position for the Nightstand mode. Maybe I can use a little 'L' bracket and attach it to the front of the stand.
Now, the rest of the charging station is amazing, high quality, sturdy and looks great. I charge my iPad Air 2, Kindle HD 7" and iPhone 6 Plus (all in cases) on top. Have cables coming out the little slots on the top for my Nightstand mode Apple Watch 2 charger I bought from another source, and a cable to charge my Fitbit One. I also bought the RAVPower 60W 12A 6-Port USB Charger Desktop Charger Charging Station and put it inside the stand to connect all my USB cables. My nightstand is now free of tangled up charging cables.

Are the same damaged units shipped back and forth to customers like fruitcake?

I was hoping we'd get lucky and the charging station wouldn't arrive broken or chipped, but when it got here, not only was one of the magnets missing and the wood cracked where the magnet used to be, but the whole front panel of station had come off, exposing some flimsy-yet-sharp-looking staples. There was a sticker on the thing asking you to call a number if you ran into any problems because the manufacturer was devoted to your satisfaction, etc., but the station was so broken that I just put it right back in the box and sent it back.
OK organizer

It works well enough at its task, which is providing a place for handheld electronics to charge up, while also accommodating their various cords and chargers. The units sit on top, which detaches very easily from the base (it's just held in place by four small magnets). The power cables enter the bottom, where there's some wooden slats to spool around to take up the excess slack, and then the cables emerge from the sides or in slots in the top where you connect them to the devices that they charge.
I knock off a star because despite how the show the phones sitting easily on this thing, like they're docking into place, in reality that doesn't work so well. The cables for the phones aren't managed well enough, so when you attach the cable to the device and try to set it in place, it often flops over the side of the organizer and lands on the table. (If you just charge them the way you charge the tablets, with the power cords attaching at the ends of the organizer and the phones laying on their sides, it works better). That part of the unit just wasn't designed or engineered as well as the rest of it.
Still, the material doesn't seem cheap or poorly made, and this unit HAS resolved quite the rats nest of cables and chargers that before now have been sitting by my bedside table, constantly tangling up and disconnecting themselves. I'm happy enough with this that I'll stick with it.
