Arizona has extremely high temperatures and a pet locked in a vehicle can suffocate in a few minutes in the summer months. Citizen's have the right to break a car/truck window if they see a pet or child locked inside with the windows closed. I would highly recommend that all four windows of a passenger vehicle or crew cab truck be equipped with these pet vents. Children should NEVER be left inside an unattended vehicle.

Do not buy this thinking it will hold any animal or child anywhere safely it is a very flimsy plastic gate I am returning it because it is a dollar store item and not at all what I thought it would be
