I'm not experienced in a lot of this stuff, being new to the specific audio equipment, but there was a very persistent humming despite being run through a compressor. And to top it off, it broke about a week after using it. I believe it had to have been a power-related issue.

I took the gamble on this little gem of a compressor and glad I did. It's very responsive and tweakable from a little to a lot of compression and everywhere in between. Small, compact, inexpensive and does the job. I've gone through several compressors over my many years of playing and this one met or surpassed those. Now I can sell the Keeley and Boss I have gathering dust.

This is easily one of my favorite pedals on the board. What this can do for the price is phenomenal. With the attack all the way down and sustain all the way up, my notes can ring for hours. That is an exaggeration, but only because I keep playing. I have easily gotten several minutes on one note. Paired with my fuzz box (Thank You Deadbeat) it gives me a very heavy sound. I tend to keep the attack down and use other pedals to drive, but man, just for the sustain and compression effect alone, this thing is amazing.

This little bass compressor delivers at a performance rating that more expensive bass compressors produce. It gets really noisy when all three knobs are wide open but this is not so much of a problem because the tone is similar to having a distortion pedal. Easy to operate and configure to my tone needs. This pedal has alot of bang for the buck and has held up to being used in two to three gigs a week without any issues.

Wow!! For this cheap i cant complain. Make sure to run at higher than 1A and 9V to get a deep and conduct e sound, at 9V and 500mA this either doesnt work or sounds thin and tinny. So i think its supposed to run at higher amps or volts, use your own discretion.
