Coarse and stiff string

I was hoping to get thinner yarn or string for crochet. This product is rough and not soft and flexible enough for crochet. It's more of a twine than a yarn. It might work fine for something like weaving. Still, I was a bit disappointed.

Jute has many uses in the outdoor world. When seperated its takes spark from ferro ectremely well great stuff

Spools are very small (can't say that you're not getting 1000 feet, but it doesn't seem like it), and the product breaks as soon as any stress is applied to it. Tried to use it for bundling small tree cuttings, and it was not up to the task. For the cost, the product did not represent a good value for me.
Red and blue are not bright.

They are darker in real life than shown in the photo. The red is almost a dark cranberry color. I was looking for a vibrant red. That was not what I received.
