If you've read any other reviews for this machine, you most likely read, and I confirm, 1- this is a serious machine. It is as powerful as it is reliable. Starts with the turn of a key. Everything that goes through the 4" feed is like a pencil in a pencil sharpener. A 2 x4 turns to mulch in seconds. (Though I stopped putting big oak and ash boughs through it as the hard wood took a little longer to chip. 2- it's got a exit chute that is poorly designed and must be cleared every now and then. To solve that issue, I put a tub or sometimes a tarp under the opening and just kick away the chips as it builds up. When I'm chipping my apple wood, I put a plastic tray under the port and can bag it up easily from there. You do have to pay attention to make sure the opening doesn't get clogged but if you're not paying attention to every aspect of running it, i.e., being careful and attentive, you shouldn't be running it in the first place. As I said, this is a serious machine. Now, that being said, if you really don't like the clogging port and the useless bag part (I didn't), just take off the front plate, designed as a safety feature, to expose the shredder grate (I did). Once the protective cover is removed, the debris exiting the port will shoot out like a blunderbuss loaded with wood chips. It will blast out like a gattlin gun and cut a door through your forsythia bushes (I did that too). In comparison to smaller machines, this one rarely, if ever, bogs down. In comparison to larger machines, this one is a quarter the cost of the next size up/ commercial grade chipper. My only other comment would be that, I own a smaller chipper with a four wheel base and it is very difficult to maneuver. The Powerhorse only has two wheels and an upper handle, which allow you to move it like a two wheeler. Much easier to maneuver, even though it's twice as big and heavy. Also, because of the two wheeled aspect it can easily be laid down, making this tall thin heavy item easier and safer to transport. All in all, a great machine for the price.

This machine is performing like a true powerhorse just what I wanted. Works great.
The only drawback is that the chute is too close to the ground but if you are prepared to shovel the chips then it is not a problem. Well worth the money.
