If you turning off from computer, only way to reconnect after switching keypad off was to uninstall the device from the computer and then connect as Bluetooth device all over again.
Every time when I turned it off, I must reconnect it manually. It's terrible.

got the black model for Windows OS. package shipped and received as indicated using prime, and keypad looked exactly like picture. disappointed it did not come with a manual as expected, but Bluetooth connection was simple with laptop. (press Connect button when laptop ready to find and add new Bluetooth devices, and keypad will connect and install drivers after entering code displayed on laptop screen) functions nicely if you're accustomed to using the "00" key appropriately, instead of forgetting that it's not the "0" key. loved the calculator button and the tab functions. makes it easier when working in Excel and other programs. most notable issue was when using the On/Off switch. turning off disconnects keypad from computer completely, and pressing Connect button doesn't reconnect. only way to reconnect after switching keypad off was to uninstall the device from the computer and then connect as Bluetooth device all over again. must keep on at all times to stay connected, and not sure of how this will play out on battery life in the long run.

I use number keys a lot at home. Typing numbers from the top row of a laptop could be very time consuming. The USB 10 key is such a great extension to the laptop. It is so convenient. It can be placed on the left hand side or the right hand side depending on where the mouse is located. Both hands can literally work at the same time which is a big time saver. The USB 10 key is also solidly built and smooth. It gives great key response.
