Used it for wheel chair device. Good value for the money, works well. Doesn't slip from position on concrete, don't know about other surfaces. A little noisy when in use, and a little less "solid" than I expected (it bows a little when used) but anything you push up or down is going to be 100% easier and safer. Pay attention to the weight limit and the optimum height recommended.

I messed up my knee and needed to be in a wheel chair for a few months. This ramp was perfect. I did not follow the instructions and bolt it down, but I've had no issues. I weigh about 150 and have a lightweight chair and the ramp holds me. It allows me to get in and out of my house with out help. It is great if you have family or friends in a wheel chair who visit often. Great for temporary use. I think I would want something a little larger for permanent or long term use.
