I worked in a small ice cream shop as a young teenager called High's Ice Cream. Very popular in the Tidewater, Va area in the 70's. When I opened the box to the scoop I was so excited I took pictures of it and put on fb. It had the same feel and look of the ones we used in that shop. Much more attractive handle than the ones we used but a little dip in some water and this thing scoops very hard ice cream from the freezer. Releases the ice cream like a pro. I plan to give these things out for presents. This thing will last a lifetime. Highly recommend it.
