I was skeptical about buying this thinking it's too pretty and inexpensive to work well. It's been about 3 weeks and I really like it a lot. It's easy to open and clean but it also seals well so it doesn't leak steam when cooking. It makes very good stovetop espresso and maintains its looks without special care. I'll update if problems occur.

The first thing that I must say is that I am no coffee snob or expert by any stretch of the imagination I just want to say that I use a manual jJava Presse manual Burr coffee grinder and some really good whole bean coffee from VolcanicA (check it out). Be aware if you are in a hurry for a cuppa coffee this is not your side up but if you have the time and patience I don't know say around 10 minutes or more to brew this stuff you'll be glad you did. I highly recommend all of these products in this review Oh and by the way the espresso maker is well-made and looks great.
