I just got a pair of these and tried them out. 1st thing I noticed was the arch support. They have good arch support. Not much cushion though. A bit more would be nice. I guess I want the best of both worlds.

Very good insoles. Initially a bit hard but after the first walk it does soften and forms a mould to your feet. Very supportive and better than orthotics I had previously for my flat feet.
