Great simple shower curtain rings

Bought these to replace some "S" shaped ones that kept constantly hopping off my shower curtain rod. These have been great. They are thin little things, so I wouldn't pull on them much. Not that pulling on them much is needed, because they glide along my shower curtain rod easily.
I also wouldn't expect them to hold a ton of weight. In my case I have a shower curtain and liner hooked on them and that works well.

The hooks of the closure do not line up and a few rings didn't "snap" close at all because the hooks were way off in alignment. For the price, I expected better quality than this. I don't know why it has such high reviews but it was a complete waste of my time returning it.

These are strong for my application and slide effortlessly. I am using them for supporting a 19' x 10' shade cloth on my camper shed and they take the weight and do not open up. I tried standard shower rings that didn't perform nearly as well. I'm happy, yes indeed.
Update.....just experienced the first cold front of this season and the winds were whipping. The lower 3/4" pipe assembly on the left came apart but only one of the rings broke. That says a lot about the rings. The pipe is fixed without the construction flaw.

After struggling for years with the "key hole design" rings, that tangled, that reversed - with the rollers being under the rod - usually requiring lifting or easing each ring so I could get out of the shower - - A MIRACLE HAPPENED - . I BOUGHT THESE!!!!! These are more than FANTASTIC!! They glide effortlessly. The rollers stay where they belong. The whole design, with the width and great way they open and then lock when attached, is perfect!! (And they include an extra ring!) This company and this product should be in the news for ingenious and award winning design and great service!!

Quit debating if they're worth the price and just get them! These rings are very nice and very sturdy. An extra one was included for backup. They slide smoothly on my stainless steel shower rod. There would be plenty of room for two shower curtains if you have one for water protection and one for looks. I was hesitant to purchase them because of the price. I shouldn't have been; they're worth it!
