These lights will not be submerged in water so I cannot comment on that aspect of the product. However, for the price I was quite impressed by the size and brilliance of the tail lights. They are quite simple to install even for older folks like myself. Everything one would need to do so was included in the package. These were installed recently so I cannot comment on their extended life but I believe this product is well worth the price.

The former taillights on my kayak trailer got broken when the weight of snow caused the tongue to tip up, I bought these to replace them. I liked the fact that I could just buy the lights because the wiring for the old light was still intact. They were easy to install. and I was pleased that they didn't hang down as far as the lights I replaced. They are LED bright and whatever they signal can't be missed.

I'd been putting off replacing a taillight on my utility trailer ever since a Spruce Tree ran into it last year. These were inexpensive, the right size and went right on easily. I didn't really need waterproof lights on this but it sure doesn't hurt. I use LEDs on EVERYTHING these days.
