The negative reviews put me off at first, but it's an ok board so far. Don't expect to just plug everything in and for this to run. For example, I had to flash the bios and make changes, then figure out why some of my GPU's weren't being found. Turns out, after the second GPU, I had to install each one, one at a time and reinstall the NVIDIA driver for each GPU. Never would have guessed.
Aside from that, the board doesn't consume much power with my Intel Celeron 3900, 60 GB SSD and 8 GB RAM. Less than 100 watts. All the PCI ports work so far. It was restarting every two hours, but I had to increase my virtual memory and now it seems stable. My 5 GPU's are Gigabyte 1070 TI's. I'm also running dual PSU with an Add2PSU adapter.
I'm giving it 4 out of 5, because it does what its supposed to. I may get an ASUS next time, but we'll see how long it lasts.

Great board for mining. Got 8 nvidia 1070s working great mining ether @ 31mhs on each card stable now for 7 days straight. make sure to use the boot splash screen for troubleshooting. it shows you which pcie is working and which is not detected. that one thing can really save alot of time especially if you run into a bad riser (which is more common than a bad motherboard).

Really love this board. Have had no issues with it. Currently running 5 GPUs - great for expansion (versus maxing out at 6). Have another mobo from a different company for my first rig and had some issues with it - but this board - no issues whatsoever so far. In use for around 5 months. I'll max it out in a couple more months for a full 8 GPUs. Definitely will pick up another Biostar for my next rig. I think I'm fairly typical of small/medium miners and I think this is a great value and trust the Biostar name.
