This was very soft, but unlike what some reviewers said mine was not very full and stiff. It is more comfortable for me than other brands but not enough firmness to use it to easily support my neck in the car. I had to keep pushing up the filling to the center to create more support. However, this was much easier than having one that is too stiff and has too much filling.
