So far, we're very disappointed. The suction is quite low. We've given it a few tries on different surfaces, but it's really frustrating. First tried to use it to vacuum the front floor carpets in the car. Just lacked the suction needed to get the job done. Had to make several passes over every spot in order to get some of the dirt. But still not clean. And if the vacuum end is not completely flat against the surface to create a "seal", then it's pretty much useless. Was a little better on a hard wood floor area, but even then it did a poor job. Had hoped this would be a useful car vacuum, but looks like we need to send it back for a refund. Disappointing.

UPDATE: LivSense sent an email offering to replace the vacuum with a newer, more powerful version and asked if I would eliminate this 1 star review if they did that. I told them I wouldn't delete the review because other people trying to figure out what to buy deserve to be able to read the review and make an informed decision about this product. As long as it is being sold on Amazon, and as long as the manufacturer is selling these sorts of vacuums, people should be able to learn about the product. It was odd. At first the email seemed like a nice effort to make things right. But then it felt like an effort to buy-off our review and escape any negative feedback about their product. And the product we reviewed simply doesn't do the job.

Update: The seller continues to send unsolicited emails despite our repeated requests that they stop contacting us.

We've had this vacuum for a few months, and really liked it. It can even pick up liquids, up to 100 ml. This sounds like a lot, but is actually less than 3.5 ounces, so you need to be careful!
A few days ago, we used it to pick up liquid, and it did a great job. However, we seem to have gone over the limit, and the motor seems to have gotten wet. We didn't use the vacuum for a few days, put it onto the charger, and let it charge fully. Now, it 'runs' for 2-3 seconds, and then stops.
I would have rated this 5 stars, but am now stuck with a broken vacuum.
It would have been very helpful, if the container had a marking that shows the liquid capacity, so that you can stop before ruining the motor.
Sigh.
(We actually like the machine so much that we've ordered another, but we'll be afraid to use it for liquids, which is a shame, because that is a great feature, or could be).
UPDATE, a few days after writing the above.
As others have written here, the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT! I heard from them, and they immediately offered to send me a replacement, or to refund my money if I had already ordered a replacement. They also thanked me for the recommendation to mark the container to show how much liquid it can safely hold at one time.
I have therefore changed my rating back to the 5 stars that I felt this vacuum deserves until we overdid the liquid.

After I had owned this vacuum cleaner for 19 days, it no longer worked. I was very pleased with it at first, but it abruptly stopped working completely. I plugged it in for hours and it wouldn't charge. The red light blinked, but nothing else happened. I was very disappointed and posted a one-star review of the vacuum cleaner here.

However, after seeing my review, a woman working in customer service for the manufacturer immediately got in touch with me and offered to send me a replacement vacuum cleaner. She said that it wasn't necessary to return the old vacuum cleaner. She also asked that I change my review. I replied that I would like a replacement vacuum cleaner but that I wouldn't change my review until I saw how the replacement vacuum cleaner performed. It arrived yesterday. So far, it's working.

So I am giving the vacuum cleaner two stars because of good customer service. BUT -- it is clear to me that the problem I experienced happens frequently and that the reason the manufacturer didn't need to have the defective vacuum cleaner returned is because it KNOWS that this happens. The problem appears to be with the vacuum cleaner motor or battery -- not with the charger.

If the replacement vacuum cleaner continues to work without problems for two months, I will upgrade my review. If It works for six months, I will upgrade it again. Some -- although perhaps not all -- of these vacuum cleaners are defective. I hope this time I got a good one.

Revised on July 8, 2018: I have now owned this vacuum cleaner for two months and it has been working without problems so I am upgrading my review from two stars to three stars. I do notice, however, that more recent reviews report the same problems that I had with this vacuum cleaner before I received a replacement two months ago. The first vacuum cleaner that I received stopped working after 19 days and wouldn't charge.

Was not satisfied with my purchase, but the Custer satisfaction was amazing. I would buy with this company because they want you to be happy with your purchase and will do everything they can to help you to be satisfied...

So after extensive research, I purchased a different handheld vac from Amazon. It failed miserably to meet the product description as well as my expectations. I returned it and purchased the HoLife (upgraded version) and could not be more satisfied. The suction is POWERFUL! Two dog, one cat, household. This little gem does the job. Not only that, but the company contacted me right away and extended their support. Refreshing!
