Comparing these against the Food Saver Branded bags. These are very similar, and worked as well the Branded bags I normally use.
They had the textured side necessary for the machine to pull air out of the bag.
The plastic seemed just a bit thinner than Food Saver bags.

Curl & puncture

These rolls are junk! We tried sealing some lobster tails and the tails kept puncturing through the plastic and letting air in. Not good when you want to sous vide something. They need to be thicker. The rolls also curl and you can't feed them into the machine.

These bags are great! We ordered the 6 pack, as we had to portion out about 100lbs of homemade sausage. We still have several rolls left for other needs. The rolls are much larger than I expected. We used it with our Food Saver brand machine and it worked like a charm.
