Ding dong, the MF'er is gone!!

Ding dong, the MF'er is gone!! Tried catching this SOB for weeks. He set off regular traps multiple times and somehow survived each time. Scared him away for a day, but came back each time. Set up the Hoont Trap. He sniffed at it the first night. A noise scared him away. But the next night, he popped out, about 45 seconds later, he went for the peanut butter and dog food and zap. See the video proof below.
First noticed an issue when I found dog food in the middle of my living room! Thought the dog did it. Then found rat crap. Set up a Nest camera and sure enough, the rat came in, dug open the dog food bag and spent two hours running food back and forth to his hideout spot. Took a few nights, but kept moving the camera around, set up a second camera and was able to discover he was coming in beside the dishwasher in the kitchen. As you can see in the video, I blocked him in to a small space to try and entice him to go for the food on the traps. It worked, but watched video after video of him setting it off and getting away. Finally bought two of these things. 30 hours later, on his second entry, problem solved. Leaving them set up for a few more days just in case he had friends.

I've had trouble with rats at night and squirrels during the day gobbling up my bird seed. Furthermore the squirrels chase the birds off the seed. I baited the trap with birdseed. Last night I noticed the light flashing on my surveillance system. I walked outside and heard the thing chirping. My flashlight revealed a few inches of squirrel tail poking out. It was using batteries. :)
A Very Effective Way to Kill Rodents

This thing works great! I had an attic infested with flying squirrels, and the Hoont trap has gotten four of them already. As far as I know it has gotten the last of them, but I am confident that if any more make their way into my attic it will get them also. I tried to get them to leave, but nothing worked. This has taken care of the problem, and I would recommend it to anyone.
It really works...just be patient!

At first I was afraid this wasn't going to work because the rats stopped coming around almost immediately after we put this out. Well to my surprise, a week later we caught our first rat. We knew there was a family but hadn't seen any in a while. We are up to 6 rats now by leaving this outside our back patio door. We haven't even changed the bait inside, it's the same peanut butter we put in there a couple months ago. So glad we got this one, as sad as it is to kill them...

This works fantastic, we've killed and easily disposed of 3 rats in the last 2 months. Toss a little dog food in and it quietly chirps when it's "occupied!" Have suggested this device to multiple people
