The product does work if built in USB port is NOT used.

I purchased this product to add Bluetooth music capabilities to a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. Two of our phones picked up, and connected to the device through Bluetooth. However, no sound would come out of the speakers. I followed all instructions and used the provided audio cable.
-- Update --
After reading other reviews, I took the advice they provided and used a separate USB power source, and the device worked properly. The car USB port may not give enough power to operate the device. The only issue is the slight buzzing noise coming through the system when audio is not playing.

Great work-around for a bad aux connector!

When the aux connector went bad on my Avalanche, I could no longer stream from my iPhone. Plugged this in via the console USB and setup the BT connection, now I have it again. Sound quality is pretty good, but doesn't seem quite as rich as the aux cable did. Instructions weren't as clear on it's use (at least the way I used it).
Easy to use.

Easy to use. Worked quickly. I'm still unsure if it's causing my volume a few notches quieter. Or it could be my Kenwood radio. But I highly recommend if you're tired of the aux cord or use a iphone. Which my aux was 10ft long 🤣
Better Than I expected

I am not sure how or why I did not purchase this years ago. This is the next best thing to slice bread! I plugged the USB to my stereo on my motorcycle and can now play songs through my phone all 3000 of them LOL!
