Nice toy for our son

This has been well received by our toddler son. He enjoys using it and interacting with us when we use it together
Pros:
- colorful and attractive to young eyes
- ample tools for toddler to change
- closes up and can be carried by our (nearly 2) son
Cons:
- latch is a little tricky, he won't be able to work it for a while. A toddler appropriate latch would have been nice
- the screws and nails are short. One of tow hits and they're in. There's room underneath, these could have been made longer.
All in all happy with this! Would probably buy again, I'd shop around first though and compare to other designs.

I've really started to love this brand of toys and they are definitely my 2-year-old son's favorites too! I've bought him just about every one of the vehicles that they can take apart with the power drill. He's obsessed with the airplane one and he carries this tool box around with him everywhere he goes! He's always walking around saying that he's going to fix everything. When he sees me working on something, sure enough he'll come back with this toolbox full of tools and he gets right to work with me. I don't think you'll be disappointed with any choice you make and I'll almost guarantee that your child will LOVE the item you picked. Most likely you'll end up doing what I did and start buying them all.
And just as a side-note because I'm sure somebody is wondering about the durability. My son is very rough with these things and it seems like all of these toys are holding up well and should last as long as he'll need them to!

I think I enjoy playing with this toolbox more than my toddler, just because it's that fun! I love that the drill doesn't require batteries. It's a little hard for our almost 2yo to pull while holding it in place to screw in the bolts but he will be able to as he gets older. Some reviews mentioned that the box isn't very durable. I completely disagree. It feels sturdy and I like that it contains all the pieces so we don't lose anything. Such a great toy that has lots of things to do, even as he gets older!

My little guy is going to be so excited christmas morning! I bought this for my 2 year old who is so into his daddy's tools he will cry if he sees any of them out. I thought I have got to get him his own but definitely plastic so he can't bang up my house. This set is perfect. Not too many piece to get lost but enough to hold his attention and desire to be like daddy and 'work'. I'm very pleased with the size of the box...I actually got the take apart plane by battat to go with it, he will be able to store parts of that set into this tool box which is a win for mama!
