If you need an axle, your options are limited...

Cheap commodity parts. Hard to argue with the price, but was about as good as pulling something from my salvaged parts bin.
Both dust caps on the races were crushed. I did not use them. It did not appear by the packaging, but rather something in manufacturing.
Despite what people say, the length didn't fit my vintage mountain bike, a problem easily solved with a cutting wheel, which most people don't own. Pretty basic replacement parts that are arguably a better value than salvaging something from the scrap heap.

This is just what I was looking for. A couple months ago my rear axle hub broke, I don't know how,but I managed to ride my bike without changing it for 2 months at least. When I received this new back axle and installed it, everything runs smoothly and great.

Poor quality. Races edges are bent. Incompatible with Trek 870 MTB (too long). Item returned.
