Does that have the same socket as my 2010 GMC Sierra

Lights are bright but on my 1991 Ford E-150 the sound emitted is almost completely unheard. Upon review of mount in wiring harness, I determined the area where sound co.es from is blocked by the socket the bulb is installed in.
