I absoluely love this coat! The color is so deep and rich looking and I love the prismatic effect that the material has depending on the light. This coat is very warm and comfortable with wonderful features. Detachable hood, fitted sleeves at wrist to keep cold air out, both snap and zipper front closure and nice deep pockets. I bought this coat in an xlg because I can't stand anything tight fitting. I am very happy with how it fits. I am 5'6 and 175lbs. My measurements are 45-35-45.

People have different definitions of cold. All of my friends can comfortably wear a short sleeve t shirt at 65 degrees, me, i have to wear a long sleeve tee "and" a heavyweight hoodie. If you're like me, this review is for you. First, this coat is a true winter coat, it's heavy (really heavy) in weight and heavy in thickness. Its built to protect you from wind through the collar, sleeves and zippers. I'm 5 ft and weigh 118 lbs, with a bigger upper back, so i got a medium so i could layer, which was the right size if you like or have to layer. The coat falls to just above my knee which is what i like. The zippers (double zipper) are tricky so you might have to fiddle with it, luckily there are snaps if you are in a hurry. The bottom half of the coat flares out a bit, so there's plenty of room for your hips. The collar is a pillow collar and the sleeves have a wrist insert to keep the wind out. I wore this coat at 32 degrees, 20 mph winds twice with a long sleeve knit blouse and a medium thick down vest and light scarf, walking for about a mile both times and i was fine. i recommend this coat to anyone who wants a heavyweight winter coat.

The jacket seems to be comfortable in all body sections. The colors are close to the reference picture, though not perfect, but that's to be expected. The jacket keeps the body warm just fine, but sometimes it becomes hot wearing it.

This jacket is the warmest I've ever had. Last January we went snowshoeing in an upstate New York blizzard and stayed toasty warm and dry. This winter I've worn it out in sleet and freezing rain as well as snow and it's perfect. Pockets are great for gloves and phone. Hood snaps in place and stays put. Only negative I can say is it's too warm to drive in my Subaru but really"¦.

This is 100% worth the buy!! I have circulation issues and live where it snows heavily and constantly in winter. This coat kept me so warm and cozy - I am amazed.
It is a little loose fitting I think (5'7" ~120lbs and got a small) but I don't mind since I wear big scarves and sweatshirts often.
It did have a hole in the pocket when I received it in the mail but it was an easy sew job so I wasn't too upset about that.
